Description
This vintage of the VIN312 Merlot from Washington State was exceptional during the fermentation process. The expression of black cherry and plum are apparent on the nose. This expression of Merlot is less smoky than most which preserves the fruit with a nice balance.
This wine can be enjoyed with food from the region including red meats, tomato sauces (including pizza!) or on its own. This bottle just gets better over time in the cellar!
100% Merlot

Grape Source: Wahluke Slope AVA, WA
Oak Aging: 12 months in neutral French oak and 30% new French oak from France, cured in and produced in Chile at Tonelería Nacional (TN) Coopers.
